If the newsletter looks pretty awful view it in a browser it looks much nicer.

for all your support in helping Media140 grow over the past year! We have had some fantastic events in London and Sydney and launched our blog too. Real-Time Web adoption cross sector is moving apace and we have a lot more coming next year to bring you the latest news, top case studies and buzziest network opportunities.
What weve been up to

Events

Media140 London tackled the impact of Real-Time Web on brands and advertisers and we had an antipodean adventure down under with Media140 Sydney, partnering with ABC looking at the 'future of journalism'. Over 77 speakers, 700 delegates and 35,000 miles later we are now planning our return to Perth on the 25th February 2010.

Join our Flickr or Vimeo groups to see all the photos and videos from the events.

Hotbed of Discussion

Under the direction of the fabulous Dee Jackson our blog has become a hotbed of discussion. Share your thinking here.

London Nude Tech 2010

Calendar Geeks strip off to raise money for Take Heart India. Sad to say we were in Sydney but thanks to a time machine (and Paul Clarke) Mike Butcher, editor of Techcrunch Europe, found his way onto the stage at our Media140 London event!

Training

Get to grips with Real-Time tools at one of our practical sessions led by Claire Wardle. A speaker at the Media140 Sydney, Claire has worked with clients including the BBC and charity Concern Universal. Discover the tools to use and how best to use them either group or individual sessions. Email training@media140.com for more information.

Fuelling the global Real-Time debate Media140 Meetups will explore Real-Time Web and its impact on journalism, brands, advertising, politics, retail and media. A great place to ask questions, network or just have a drink. Richard Baker will kick off our first London Meetup on Wednesday 13th January.

Richard first introduced Twitter to Virgin Trains in a bid to 'get to know' his customers, he'll share his experiences in consumer engagement with Real-Time Web and its impact on business. Interested speakers and sponsors for Meetups please contact kate@media140.com
